Its time for me to replace my heater core. Somehow i got a crack in one of the tubes by my firewall. My book says i basically have to remove my entire dash to get to it. Is there an easier way. Its starting to dump rain here and I have to do all my work outside so taking that much time kinda makes me wanna wait till spring. I want to get this done tho before it starts to freeze. So is there an easier way of is it a weekend project? Anything that makes it a little faster would help immensely thanks

Post some pics if you decide to do it. I'm in the midst of trouble shooting a lack of heat in my '88 and I may have to do that at some point. ... It'll be my last option as I have no desire to do it outside as well. It hit -40C here last week.

I dont think Im gonna get to it till this spring. i had a friend solder it for a temp fix. Im hoping it will make it thru this winter. when I do it ill post pics.
