Help audio installation!

I am trying to know what is that kind of second, smaller wire, which is similar to a antenna connection (but smaller) on my 1998 4runner. There is no place to connect this on my pioneer head unit. Can I leave this unplugged? Do I have to somewhat splice it into somewhere? (EDIT: after searching, found the answer to this one problem, you can leave it disconnected, or use special connectors to put it in parallel with the other antenna jack).

Still have this problem though:

I can get the power antenna to be always up whenever the car is running, but I can't find a way to make it go up only when using AM/FM radio.

I am installing a 4 channel amp, whit a mono amp to power 2 subs, and this head unit, if any of these details matters.

Does the head unit have 2 separate blue wires? If so, one is for the amp and one is for the antenna. If not, I don't know of an easy way to accomplish that without installing a separate switch to manually activate the antenna.

I'll double-check, but if I remember well, there was a power antenna wire on the aftermarket 4runner harness, but no dedicated power antenna on the head unit. I connected the blue signal wire to the power antenna. Guess I will leave it as it is for now, but the switch is a nice quick fix that I might do in the short term.
