Help needed front bumper

Hey all new to the site and need some advice. My driver side front bumper support broke on a minor collision from a friend (oops) He bought the part and just wondering if anyone knows if there is a trick to removing the old one and installing the new one. Any help is appreciated. (and for the record did try to search).
