HELP Scion AUX wire harness splice

I installed the scion radio last night. This is the T1806 with the AUX port and the IPOD port.

Connecting the iPod was pretty straight forward, it's just a cable that goes to the back of the radio, into it's own port.

But the AUX cable ran into the main wire harness that goes over to the fuse box and comes over the dash to it's own plug which I already have in my own 4runner wire harness.

So I had to splice the Scion AUX harness to the current Toyota one.

The only problem was that the Scion one had one more wire thna Toyota and they were different colors.

Here is a chart of how it is wired now, and the AUX port is working, but I just wanted to make sure I didn't mess anything up in the long run.

Thanks!

I ran all the plugs to the center console.

It looks realy clean, with the radar control in one, the iod in another, and then the AUX port.

Aux and Ipod - T1808

I know this might be a dead thread, but I thought I would give it a shot. I got my ipod adapter working, but I wanted to splice into in and add AUX capabilities. How did you do yours?

Do you have the aux adapter like the one in my pic?

When I took the ipod adapter from the junk yard scion tc I also took the aux adapter from the vehicle.

Then I just spliced it into the 4runner audio harness just like above.

Hi there, I am planning to install my ipod on my car. unfortunately, i dont have any idea on what to do. I've search the internet for the instructions but i didn't find any helpful tips. I will just take this chance if you can help me on this one. If you can provide the procedures that you did. Thanks.
