Help with Fuse Box Locations & Diagrams

Hello -

I just bought a 1995 2WD 4Runner and I have a few electrical problems / questions for anyone that can help me. The fan for the A/C & Heater does not work at all, the side mirror switch does not work for either side mirror, the rear window switch was working but quit working (it goes up & down fine with the key), the dome light does not work, cigarette lighter does not work, and I need to know what I should check first. Is there a diagram for the fuse locations and what they are for? I would appreciate any help at all and sorry for all of the questions.

Thank you for the info . There were a couple of blown fuses and I got everything working now except for the a/c & heater blower. I checked all of the other fuses I and everything looks ok. The A/C switch does not turn on at all and the heater blower does not work at all. I tested the blower with direct power and it works fine like that. Any suggestions on what else I can check?

The A/C won't come on if the fan doesn't. Keeps the A/C condenser from icing over.
Did you check the fuses behind the dash on the pass side?
Remove the glove box to get to them.

Checked those fuses and they all look good. There is also a heater relay in the same block.Does that have anything to do with the blower maybe? I'm not sure how to test those to see if they are bad.Also, the rear heater works fine as well. Oh and how do you get those relays out? I was going to swap them since I know that the rear one is working but I can't seem to get it to come out and I don't want to break it.

Ok I found the problem! It was the relay. I replaced it and the blower & a/c both work great. Thank you for the help.Now for one of the last small problems. The drivers side power door lock is not working. All other locks work fine with the master switch, individual switch, and the alarm switch. It opens fine manually with the key but not with any of the switches. Any sugesstions for this one?

I am having the same problem. How did you come to the conclusion that the Heater relay had to be replaced? I didn't think you can check those.. Toyota wants 60 for that relay.

There are two relays in that area that are exactly the same. I just swapped them to test and the heater/ac worked fine when I did that. The heater/ac relay was bad so I picked one up at Auto Zone for about 15.00.

Not sure how to remove the glove box

I'm fairly ignorant, so apologies if this seems obvious. I've spent the better part of the day and night poring over this forum, stickys, service/owner manuals, google, Youtube, and my actual truck (95 3.0, same as the original poster in this thread) trying to get it off. It doesn't seem to want to come off by squeezing it, and before I unscrew everything, I'd like to know if that's the right thing. Any help appreciated, pictures would be really awesome.

open the glove box, you should see some 10mm bolts on either side.
remove those, you should be able to ease the glove box out.

crappy picture but you can sort of see what you need to remove to get the glove box out. basically need to remove the lower right portion of the dash. 4 bolts, 2 on the lower part of each side and a couple you will see when you open the glove box

are you removing this to get to the fan blower motor resistor?
If so might as well pull the passenger seat too, it makes it a lot easier to finangle you way in there
