The rear diff lock and ABS light are on in my 97 T4R! Does anyone have experience with this? I've checked the switch and fuses, all is good.
I'm hoping I don't have to take it to the stealership!
Please let me know if any of you have experience with this. Thanks!!!

Is the rear locking diff enabled? Those two lights come on when it's enabled to let the driver know the differential is locked and that ABS is deactivated. Are you driving in 4WD, or do you know if the grey wire mod has been done to your truck?

answer these, also try resetting your computer, just disconnect the battery for a few minutes and see if that clears things up, but you should respond to kelly first as you may be messing stuff up driving on pavement with that stuff engaged

no, not enabled and not in 4x4. Not sure what grey wire mod is? This has got me puzzled! I tried disconnecting the battery, but no luck! Sounding like i'm going to the stealership! wish me luck...

Fyi. Turns out it was simply some rusted wires!!! some $336.00 rusted wires!
Such a rip-off! I try to do all maint/repairs myself but this one I could not figure out!
so hopefully this thread helps someone down the road...
oh well, truck is mint again.
