Hey Yall from Eastern Carolina!

Hey Guys!
New guy here from Wilmington, NC. Just bought a 98 SR5 in 2WD (idiot). Spending next couple days replacing rear axle seal and flushing all the fluids/replacing filters. Any other suggestions what should be replaced just after purchasing?
Looks like 200k without much maintenance/modification.
Been reading the forum for weeks now and you guys are a well of wisdom!

2WD is underrated IMO. Just had the transfer case on my 4wd blow up :/ times like this I wish it was 2WD haha

welcome! I was actually just in Carolina celebrating Christmas with my wifes fam. Stayed at myrtle beach and actually loved it so much we're considering packing our bags, sending in the flyttemelding as its called here to the government in Norway and move (my wifes a US citizen) Also the cars there are soo much cheaper then here, here it costs double what you probably paid for yours.

Meh I guess that depends on what’s been done. I’d check out the timing belt assuming that’s what it’s got and not a chain if it’s a chain I’d check the tensioner and guides.
