HID Kit Installation Help

I just received a XenonDepot Xtreme HID kit and getting ready to install. I'm just curious where people have mounted the ballast and how you tucked away the excess wire.

Also where do you run the crossover wire from the pass side headlight to the left side mounted battery? It appears both sides are installed independently and not linked together in any way - correct?

The provided instructions are very brief and I can't find any Gen 3 installation threads with photos.

I mounted my ballast using industrial strength 3M mounting tape.

The locations:
drivers side - against the wall sitting vertical
passenger - on the metal floor a few inches from the light assembly, sitting flat not vertical.
