I used a combination of the solid plastic piece and a short piece of rubber and a heat gun. Even with a turbocharger sucking on it my hose doesn't collapse.

Now th solid piece. Is that part of the package or is that some old OEM part ? Reason why I am asking is. I have this snorkel waiting to be installed. And simply want to be 100% ready before I install it.

Old OEM part, but cut down and heated and glued onto the airbox.
The bracket barely contacts the snorkel. I'm not too worried about vibrations since they are mounted very close and both to the body of the truck.
AND LIGHTS!!!
I don't understand how your ditch brackets clear the snorkel. I'm in the process of installing the snorkel and it's hitting the brackets. FML

Hmmmm, I wouldn't recommend at all.
And personally, I avoided drilling holes into my pillar. I used double sided sticky, and a small zip tie from the snorkel head to the front led bar mounts.
Before installing the zip tie, eventually the double sided sticky was no longer sticky , probably after a good month. And I noticed a big dent on top of my door. My conclusion, the snorkel mount shifted down and pushed on the door when I was off roading. However, I'm happy that it didn't dent my pillar.
So, I would not take it through the car wash. Another thing is, you need be careful when off roading. Making sure you don't hit your snorkel.
And, if you have ditch light brackets like I. I personally don't know how others made it so the snorkel doesn't make contact with them. But for me. It touches. I guess, if you want to make the hilux snorkel fit AS BEST AS POSSIBLE. You sacrifice something else.

You gotta use VHB tape. Its stronger than the back of the emblems.
Never heard of VHB TAPE. I can snap some photos for you tomorrow and show you my set up.

Google it, they have different lengths & widths.
Here - 1" W x 15' L is $24, not cheap but it's the best double sided foam tape there is. And for outdoors.

Oh, yeah 3M DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. That's exactly what I am using. Held up great for month. But that's expected due to water, and mud.

3M makes 100 different types of tape. That 3M tape you bought at staples or an auto parts store is bottom of the barrel. VHB is $24 for 15ft. The rolls we use at work (VHB $130 a roll) last for years on signs we hang outdoors.

Yeah. Looks like the one I ordered. It will be nerve racking to try and make everything fit and line up.
I highly, and this is my personal opinion only. Do not drill holes into the windshield pillar. Mines been holding up perfectly with 3M double sided tape and a zip tie from the snorkel head to the front windshield led bar mount.
To me it's easier to replace a fender rather than a windshield pillar.
Also, when I did mine. I used RTV to seal the plastic OEM tubes, because.... well after all. The whole purpose of the snorkel is to keep water out of your intake. What good does it do when the tubing isn't sealed. The rubber piece to plastic. That's fine. The clamp seals it tight. But you need to modify the OEM plastic tube. However you modify it your self. Make sure the seam where it meets is sealed with RTV or something against water.
