Ha ha ya know pirate has the "Billvista tech room" which has the Dana60 bible, 14 bolt bible, coilover bible, etc
You know why they don't have many "unresearched info thread" ( nice way of putting it??? Because everyone on pirate has one of these:

plus then maybe my locker write up and BFAD's countless write ups will make their way there

I know it isn't getting updated anymore, but I think the mods just need to take this one over and update it periodically. Maybe giving it a catchy, stand-out title would be good, but 90% of the useful information in this section is already in there.

The multiple stickies don't bother me and newbies might be more likely to find what they're looking for if they actually see a topic. I would go as far as adding a phrase like "read me before asking lift questions" to the lift sticky.
That said, this is the sticky of all stickies, and it would be sweet if we had something like this for the forum:

I was being sarcastic.
What people should be doing is not answering those posts that ask repetative questions. As mentioned, why spoon feed people and clog up all the other threads.
In a day and age when information is at most everybody's finger tips, you see more and more people requiring the answers provided to them. Doesn't that show how lazy people have gotten?

I vote for this.
Move a few of the stickies that can fit in here into this thread and leave the other big ones to be by themselves.
Make all the stickies appear in BOLD text and a different color so they are noticeable.
The only issue with adding to the bigger thread is it takes a lot of time to do it correctly and make it organized. I don't have that much time to dedicate to the forum. If anyone else does then feel free to step up and copy and paste the first post of that thread and modify it to fit all the other threads. If its a comprehensive thread then I won't mind doing what you suggested.
Also, we cannot change colors or make bold titles on threads.

I would say keep the buyers guide and build threads out on the page too, and just keep all the technical threads in the reference master thread.
Also, it's spelled compendium, no "L"

This was long overdue! I'm not much for complaining, but since you all brought it up:
The ONLY things that should be stickied on page one are threads that forum members regularly need/want to access quickly and easily. It's supposed to be a "table of contents" of sorts, not an index.
I've thought the mid gen upgrade thread was useless since I registered, and Ripcord covered that info in full within the buyers guide.
Torque specs??? Come on! Look it up yourself. I have a peice of paper thumb tacked to the wall in my garage, every time I torque a bolt I write the spec on that sheet of paper. Much faster than washing my hands, firing up the computer, looking up a sticky and finding the torque value. I'd rather use the online FSM anyway if I was going to all that trouble.
Programming instructions for the remote? That fits nicely under Tutorial Doc & Reference.
Rear Sag? Really? A sticky? This is also covered in the buyers guide and the lift info thread. Plus, it's a one sentence fix. Got rear sag? Buy new springs!
The supercharger thread isn't even complete yet, and is itself just a compilation of MORE links.
