That looks great! I need to redo my tank skid I made since it's gotten so dented. Did you just do 3/16 for everything (assuming I'm looking at it right)?

This is a great thread and the pictures are incredible. I'm gonna attempt to build a rear cargo box to organize all my fishing equipment once and for all. I'm pretty good at working in wood and for me that's the best option. In some of those pictures some of the wooden boxes were covered in what looks like grey carpeting. I think it looks pretty good and was wondering where can I get some. Is it some type of marine carpet or something else. How did you put it on, glue staples other. I wish I could build the other stuff, but outta my league. Thanks again

Just don't do what I did and get the ugly camo carpet from Walmart... Its terrible, but at the time it was my only option. I am going to redo mine this summer in a waterproof marine carpet.

Going to turn this mess into a buggy. I've gutted the inside and I'm finding the suspension ( lca, ball joints, otre, etc.)parts I broke. Just got the frame spec measurements. Hopefully a year or two ill have a trail only rig. So much good stuff on this thread, this is my candy store. Thanks everyone

But then again, you have snow and I have beaches with hotties in bikinis 9 months out of the year.....yeah, I stick with beaches. LOL!!!

I know this might start a fight but buy a solid piece of equipment when buying a welder. I bought a hobart 140 because of it being basically a miller with a different name and my electrical outlets. I'm in the military so I can't modify my electrical at all. I'm stuck with 110v. Solid little welder. Does 1/4 easy as pie.

Oh yeah for sure. No argument there. Sad thing is that I work for the gas pipeline company in Arizona, and my crew leader that I ride with daily is actually one of the company welders. So I get to hear all the time which welders are good and bad. We had a Miller on the truck and they just swapped out with a new Lincoln. Which didn't mean a lot to me but he was happy. I plan on trying to mess around with it during some downtime, and eventually get my own. Probably not a Lincoln. But one a little closer to my budget.
