Cool looking bumper. Slim, high clearence, and functional. Nice looking rack too. I think I saw a build thread on that.

I did finally finish mine off not too long ago myself. The whistle is gone on the highway though. Now I'm working on more risqué projects that I will reveal when I'm done with them. The last guy who did it was ostracized lol. I am also working on a ladder. Gonna look a lot like a gobi but I think it's the only way to do it if you are going to stick it to the rear hatch.

I beefed up my gas tank skid plate by welding some #3 rebar in there to stiffen it up...

My Homemade Bumper

Here is my first bumper project (and first time welding, I'm 16) for my first car!! (I know, It's a 2nd gen, not 3rd...)
First, I made a cardboard template of it, then used those pieces to cut the steel, almost finished I'm also gonna paint it (and the car) black, the car paint is atrocious :/

Bike rack system that uses Yakima mounts attached to a base I built. (Before I added plate underneath for stability) Can also see the tube bumper I built.

So I realize this is old, but that molle window is cool. How did you mount it, how close to the glass? Any problems/changes/improvements? Very cool, my truck spoke to me in a dream declaring this to be done.

Thanks! I just welded tabs to the steel grate and used self tapping screws into the pinch weld around the window. It's very solid and sits about an inch and a half from the glass.
