Hornblasters

I've recently gotten a hornblasters horn with a 2 gallon air compressor. Does anyone have this set up? We are having a hard time figuring out where to put the compressor. We really prefer to have it outside of the vehicle. It is a 2006 4runner sport with a V8 and 4WD. Help!

Hey good buy....what u want to do is this...first off for warranty purposes your compressor has to be mounted upright or they won't warranty it.. second on each corner of your rear bumper u will see what looks like something belongs there.e.g. your compressor. Of course u might need to make a bracket to mount it but thats where im putting mine once i get them. Also the intake line for the compressor use it. And run it inside the cab for cleaner moisture free air...hope it helps...let us know.

i saw someone put a huge air horn in place of the spare tire...maybe think about that. but that thing was huge...and having a spare is kinda important.

Spare Tire

Yeah, we really don't want to give up the spare. There is a spot near the radiator, however, we are afraid that it will get too hot and damage from road garbage. You would be amazed at how little is availble in a search for this!

No not the spare in the corner of the bumper.. the compressor is separate from the tank right?? Inside the bumper in the corner. U can make a 90degree plate with the compressor mounted on it...Damn if I had a pic..

Oh crap it is mounted together. Well u can dismount the compressor n u might need a longer leader line n then u can mount the tank and the compressor in different places...damn even the thought of mounting that as a one piece is a nightmare no way..I will take a pic for u of the compressor location for u in the morning. Even i don't know where I'm gonna put my tank for my bags I've been deliberating for months.
