How about a sticky for new buyer research

Almost everyday I see a thread or two started by someone who is interested in buying the 5th Gen but wants some piece of information or the other before buying. I was wondering - how about a sticky titled new buyer research in which we include relevant posts from the past that would give people looking to buy a clear picture of what they are getting into? What do you guys think?

If you want something like that on the site, then write one yourself.

Thats why I wrote the 3rd gen buyers guide. Nobody else could be bothered to do it.

I like it, but (and in my past/current experience with owning forums), people will still skip over stickies and post their question anyway.

I have a feeling the admin here doesn't mind new questions, especially since it helps with getting indexed more into search engines under slightly different search terms.

I totally agree with the premise, but I sure wouldn't put much work into it until Jesse buys in ... he has a stickaphobia.

I definitely do have a phobia, and this is another one I think shouldn't be a sticky. There is an existing sticky for new car research here
