How can you tell if TB has been replaced?

I got my 4runner the other day, and I don't know if the TB has been replaced or not. The previous owner didn't know either, and Carfax and Toyota didn't indicate it either.

It appears all of the bolts in the front of the engine have been off. I just wasn't sure if there was that one bolt that indicates the timing belt has been done or not.

I pretty much know the answer to this question, get it done anyway. But thought there might be that one magical indicator.

I searched in the forum but didn't feel like reading through 12 pages of posts.

You don't even bother to tell us what year truck or what engine, so I don't feel like answering.

The service manager at my dealership told me there should be a sticker placed under the hood when a TB is replaced . Also if it was replaced at a Toyota dealership there should be a record of it if you have the VIN number .

It's a '98 with the 3.4.

If it was changed, it wasn't with Toyota, I checked.
