I did a quick search and couldnt find a quick answer.
How do I go about removing the rear spoiler? Is it a simple task?
My issue... I have a 1.5 inch long by .25 inch wide paint flake exactly where the spoiler and tail gate meet. I can see grey and white (primer and sub primer?) I tried taking a photo to show you guys but its in a really bad spot for a photo...
Went to the dealer and they said they can do one of two things.
A: Send it to a body shop and repaint the spot and reblend into the spoiler, tail gate, and divers side side pannel to blend the paint so you cant see the paint job. with the comment "its never ideal to remove factory paint"
B: Give me a bottle of touch up paint and have me do it my self....
Didnt like either answer, but I took the free bottle of paint.
Due to the location, I think for the best results having the spoiler out of my way would help.
Any help would be great...
Thanks
P.S. Safelight glass repair is comming out tomarrow to fix a chip in the windsheild... FML!!!
