Car Broker
I had a couple people ask so if this breaks any rules just go ahead and delete it:
I used Jim Colbeck, he's a car broker here in Colorado and his name was given to me by [MENTION=3646]veloindy[/MENTION].
Overall it was a pretty good experience but I'm 95% certain I could've gotten the same deal on my 4Runner that he did... but I would not have gotten as much money out of my Infiniti G35 so it was definitely worth it for me.
My G had at least $2,000 worth of damage done to it just from being older, starting to rust in a few spots due to paint cracking and midwest winters, and someone hit me in a parking lot but didn't leave a note. I was expecting to get $6,000 absolute tops out of it and Jim got me $8,000 so if you have a used car that might be a little beat up I think a car broker is probably an good decision because you have to waste zero time trying to sell it or find a dealer who will give you the deal you want on a new car and a fair value on your trade. Car brokers are able to shop your used car to as many dealerships as they want and give you the top price while applying the value to your new car as a trade-in. So, you can sell your current car to one dealership, buy from another, and only pay tax on the difference as if you had done all of your business with the same entity which saved me a few hundred dollars.
If you plan to keep your old car or if it's in good enough shape where you'll get a good trade on your own... you can probably get a similar deal with more time invested just will have to ask yourself how much your time is worth.

"2013 4 runner trail, Silver/black, Navigation/Entune, KDSS, Carpeted mats and cargo mats, $38453.20 which is dealer invoice, MSRP is $40970, No additional fees except tax"(which wasn't terrible but registration in CO is outrageous.)
