How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Hi Folks,
Today I picked up the Nautical Blue Metalic with Redwood Leather w/3rd Row.

I spend pretty much a whole month looking for this... it is like a f**king unicon.

the sticker is $49,527.
I got it for $47,295... it was a struggle to get this price!!
put down $30k.
2.74 Financing.
Sales tax is $3225.51
doc fee is $389
Title, Registration, $427
so left to finance is $21,336.51
which is about $382 a month.

do I like this deal? F**K NO!!!

does my wife love this blue and redwood leather combination... HELL YEAH!!
(hopefully I can pay this off in a year)

If I didn't have a time constraints on selling our old subaru to our niece and busy with my work, I would have fly out some other states... but this will save me a lot of time. (that is something I dont have)

The price is good however be aware of the “add on” line items. It seems like the southern states have a lot of stuff they bill you for that are over priced and have little value.

Brake Plus was initially $399 but negotiated $100 off. (didn't want but they wouldn't take it all off)
License fee was initially $922.75 because it included a $299 theft protection thing, told them to take that out of the price.

So, I am in the market for a 4Runner... I have been quoted 39K for a white TRD off road Premium with no options other than the moonroof (which I can care less about)... Anyone know if that's a good price?

What about KDSS? Should I hold out for one with KDSS?

That’s a great price, I paid $41,600 for the same truck in the PNW earlier this month. I’m going to lift mine, so KDSS was kind of pointless for me.

I snagged a 2021 TRD Off Road in November. Sticker was $41.7k before TTL and I paid $37.5k before TTL. My dealer was breeze to work with. I am in SE Louisiana.

Snagged a 2021 4Runner TRD Offroad in White with Premium sound and no other additional for $39,071+tax n title. Hit up Janelle Root at i-5 Toyota in Chelahis, WA to get a good deal. She was over $2k less than any other dealership we interacted with and there was zero negotiation.

I decided to go with a car in the Portland market for tax reasons and ended up taking a deal with Eric Kalik (good guy) at Toyota of Gladstone on a TRD ORP. MSRP was $45,855 with KDSS and moonroof, and the lowest I could get him was $43,266. Toyota of Portland and Ron Tonkin Toyota would hardly budge from MSRP, so that appears to be the market in the Portland area right now.

Overall satisfied with the price (5.6% off MSRP) and he price matched all of my accessories with other dealers I found online, which saved me about another $1,500 in the end.

$43,266 + $3000 TT&F = $46,266 OTD

I'm about to be a new member of the 4Runner family and have been waiting for my build for months. I paid MSRP for a '21 TRD Pro model that I ordered back in November.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get to the dealership once it's at the port with the current delays?

I ordered mine in early Nov., it was built 11/30, shipped from Japan on 12/10 and arrived at the port on 1/10. I still haven't gotten the truck and it hasn't been released from the port yet three weeks later. This is in the Northeast region.

Got my 2020 TRD Off Road (non premium because I hate leather) with KDSS, side runners, and a cargo cover, for about a little under 45k out the door. ($44,989 or something like that). MSRP was in the mid 44k and they would not budge. This was at Longo Toyota in So Cal back in June of 2020. I thought it was a pretty good deal because Northridge Toyota wanted 46k for the same one not including taxes and fees. This is the 2nd car I've bought from Longo Toyota and they are my favorate for sure. If your in SoCal, look around then come to Longo and compare their prices. Hands down I'm good with them.

Interesting. I live in Portland, and bought my 2021 TRD ORP, midnight black, with moonroof for 42672.30 from Gresham Toyota. OTD=43725.65.

I’m not an Oregon resident so had to pay 6% sales tax for Vermont registration. Better than the 7.5% in California or 8.25% in Nevada.

I shopped around at Beaverton, Royal Moore, Gladstone, Broadway, and Wilsonville Toyota. Gresham seemed to be the easiest to work with and gave me a decent deal (through costco).

Paid Canadian MSRP on a 2021 SR5 with Off Road Package (Premium ORP to you guys in the States). Supply and demand in my corner of Canada means that dealers "know what they got" and don't budge. I got them to throw in some OEM crossbars and a Toyota toque (beanie to you guys in the States lol) for my wife.

I shopped all of the above but inventory for the truck I wanted was SLIM. We ended up buying through Toyota of Vancouver, who was decent to deal with. Royal Moore was very sketchy and I would advise no one here to buy from them after my experience on a test drive. Gladstone/Wilsonville seemed OK, but by the time I got a hold of one of their sales folks who was interested in helping me find the car I wanted I was already in talks with Vancouver so it didn't go far.
