How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Just picked up a new Nautical Blue Metallic 2023 TRD Sport with Technology Package, Premium Audio & Toyota chrome accented running boards for $49K OTD not including TTL.

Best vehicle I've ever bought!

Congrats on the new ride!

It’s not really “OTD” if it doesn’t include TTL…

Thank you!

True, but in Oklahoma you can get a vehicle and buy the tag after 30 days when the title is mailed to you. Other states like Kansas give you 60 days after purchase.

Oklahoma new vehicle TTL = 4.5% of purchase price, not sticker price. My TTL will be $2205 which brings price to around $51,200 OTD.

I ordered mine in December and got it in January Pearl White 2023 and paid $1K under MSRP. Of course i am one that only got one key fob as well so far. Didn't know they were only providing one until the sales guy was walking out with me to drive away and I said where is my other fob? No so happy about that.

Same with me, but the car had a decal on the driver's side passenger window saying that Toyota will send me another one at some point.

I was able to get my 2023 TRD Off-Road Premium with KDSS, MTM and Sunroof for MSRP. There were some port installed options that I didn't want but I'm fairly fortunate not to pay for BS options (alarm, paint protection, etc.) or markup.

Did you have Stargard (like lojack) already installed? If so, can you negotiate to include this in the price of the car?

Paid a little under sticker for a 2023 Limited (like a couple hundred bucks under...I didn't ask why). Everything just lined up but most of the local dealers are selling at sticker unless it's a Pro. And, most are presold. Toyota still can't make enough 4Runners. I'm no longer interested in their excuses.

Hi guys,

I am planning to buy my first 4Runner and am located in the Bay Area (CA). I reserved a '23 SR5 Premium that just arrived at the docs and should be at the dealer in 4-7 days. I have not started the paperwork yet, but I had the dealer email me an invoice with the OTD price and details below:

$45,800.00 MSRP with these accessories:
- Running boards ($345.00)
- Power Tilt/Slide Moonroof ($630.00)
- Keep it Wild Savings (-$750.00)
- Third Row Seating ($1,085.00)
- Stargard/LoJack ($995.00) [***this is listed on the invoice, not the window sticker***]

OTD price (tax, title, license, fees, etc. included) = $52,414.76

My questions are:

1) Can I have the Stargard removed? If not, has anyone negotiated for this to be included in the price of the vehicle?

2) Has anyone been able to negotiate a few $1ks off of the price of their 4Runner SR5 Premium?

Would love to hear peoples' experience! Much appreciated! :keyboard::thanks::cheers:

Regardless of what anyone says, you would have to ask your dealer.
Every dealer is different.

Staguard/LoJack is not a Toyota factory option, so your dealer added it. You might be successful in getting it removed, but most dealers that add stuff like that do it for the added profit, so they typically don’t want to remove it.

Generally speaking, the 4Runner has been selling at or above MSRP, so negotiating a lower price will depend on your negotiating skills and your dealers desire to move inventory. Best of luck.

Consider searching dealers in a larger area and you may find one with only the options you desire.

Was picking up a new Toyota (not 4Runner) for my wife yesterday in the DC Metro area. 23 TRD Pro on the lot - $75,000 including $2k "Market Value" markup! :O

What crap did they have on it to justify running it up another $18K past sticker (since I think those are sitting right at about $58K MSRP if I am not mistaken).

Amazing thing is you can get a Pro @ MSRP in Phoenix with no BS added onto it if you wanted one right now I'm pretty confident (especially if you were willing to wait a few months).

Sat on a waiting list for six months at a dealer in Salt Lake, Utah. Got my 2023 TRD Offroad Premium with no factory options and two port options (roof rack cross bars and all weather mats) for MSRP and $299 doc fee two weeks ago. Happy they found one without options, TRD Offroads and Offroad Premiums can get crazy expensive with options. Like, you could throw $8k of stuff on top of one.
