How much did you pay for your 3rd gen?

While I did not get it for a steal I did get a decent deal for it IMO.


Front and rear bumpers are hopefully happening this Christmas if I can save enough pennies up for some Schrockworks again.

289k when I got it, $2500 bucks with e-locker. I'll be turning 313k tomorrow. I got my OME lift used off CL for around $250 if I remember right and slapped the 285s on for about what they cost, maybe 100 bucks off if I remember right. It's not pretty but it gets stuff done. It was much nicer before I started beating it up on the trails lol

Yeah up with a bunch of Jeeps I know but I did things with IFS they had no clue was possible, even had to tow a few out!

Just got my '99 SR5 with 159k for $3300.

Super clean and all fluids and maintenance kept up with. The only thing I have to check is the timing belt. Carfax shows it done at 60k but not again.

She runs great! Can't wait to get a lift/tires and get offroad!
 
Just got mine this month (July 2016) for $8,750. Its a 2000 SR5, Manual with 96k on it. It is in beautiful condition with no rust in sight. It also has the full TRD exhaust system!

Certainly in the steep side for the price but considering its condition and the fact that its a manual 4X4, I am quite happy. I did the timing belt, WP, all belts, plugs, wires, etc. right when I got it. Also have OEM LBJs ready to go in in the next few weeks.

$500 for mine, had to do a trans swap that cost me $240 and installed myself. Just ordered afew new suspension parts. Frame/ Rockers are all perfect, usual Hatch rust. 97 limited, leather, everything works, even the AC and the locker.

$2000.00 for a 2000 SR5 125,000 miles/200,000 kilos. But, I had to do some added frame work that made up for the difference on the usual price.
 
$4000, about three months ago. 120K miles. SR5. Good amount of frame rust but mechanically sound. Two owner (I'm the third). Received maintenance records when purchased..
 
I paid $1,500 for my 97 with 200,000 miles on it, then did my own body work, painted it, built the roof rack and mororcycle carrier, lifted it and added 305/70 16s

 
PLEASE HELP When i am driving around aprox 55-70 mph, my steering wheel shakes a little bit. The Toyota dealership said it was my tires, i got them rotated and balanced, didn't help, so i just got new tires(285/75/16 Duratracs) and i'm still having the issue. Can anyone help me with this?? much appreciated
 
How are y'all getting 4Runners so cheap? one here in Dallas goes for $7-9000 and that is for one with 175,000+ miles.
