It depends, it can be changed, but stock config is the wideband not the stock sensor. There is no need to look at the stock numbers since they will be skewed and different anyway. So, if I have a AEM Wideband input into the FIC, what input is the AFR gauge in gauge showing? The factory O2 or the wideband. I am assuming the O2 map is off the factory narrow band and the gauge is using the wideband???
Yeah, have the URD 7th kit already installed. Just want to be able to tune on the fly!
I swore I had the mounting in the write, up, but it may be still in my word doc. Any way mine is tucked up all neat and tidy in my passenger kick panel.Looks like AEM steered me astray. The patch harness I bought is the wrong one for my 96 auto. Looks like they don't make one for my truck. Guess I'll be off to the wrecking yard to build one. Maybe I'll find a Supra maf too lol
Where are you guys mounting your fic? Not much room by the stock computer.
I had no idea that the URD didn't datalog wideband! That makes any kind of accurate road tuning impossible, not to mention unsafe!!!In addition to this, I think it'd be cool to be able to use the output on my AEM gauges to data log the AFR, Boost, and RPM all at once instead of just Boost and RPM like I do with the URD stuff.

I am on stock injectors and stock pulley so I don't know yet. I ran out of money this last summer lol. This summer I will be installing some 550cc injectors. If I were you I would just do it while it's apart.Whats your guys opinion on injectors? With the fic-6 is there any reason to install larger or different injectors? I've got to pull the top end apart to do knock sensors and want to throw some clean injectors in while I'm there. Been looking on ebay and it looks like I can get a balanced set of injectors reasonably whether it be for my 96 4runner or a supra.
Figured id post this here too since you guys are already running this setup.
I've been searching all over the forums and am just coming up with more questions lol.
Supra injectors are 550 if I remember correctly. I want to go to a 2.0 pulley at some point lol. I may even get 650's not sure yet ha-haWhat future plans do you have to need such a large injector? :wow2:
Do you think I'd be fine with just the supra injectors 23250-70080 when I install the 2.2 pulley?
Interesting, anyway they would be perfect for a 2.2 pulley then.I think they are only 312cc actually.
Take the resistor out and see if it starts and runs with out codes. If it does your good to go. If it doesn't then I would get the pinout for your truck from the TIS and then confirm that everything is wired correctly. I was bridging the wrong thing when I first finished my harness and it sounds exactly like the same problem. So I got mine inFIC6 and Boomslang harness 2000 5spd Fed, w aem wideband, 2.1 pulley - what is came with, and the AEM Meth kit installed last week. Makes 9.7# of boost.
Had a few questions so I called and chatted with AEM Tech line yesterday for about 45 minute - very helpful-, felt better when he had to ask someone the question I was asking him.
Still have 1 issue, not wanting to start when cold w Harness and FIC, he thought maybe the resistor in the cam/crank circuit was it - without it it fires right up - .... Since with everything at 0 the the only different with the FIC hooked up......Need to work on that one.
Still learning how to use it.....
Just looked it up stock TT 2jz injectors are 500cc. I'll be honest I never had planned on using supra injectors so I assumed that the 2jz injectors are the ones everyone used. They must be from the 7mgte then?

Have you removed or changed the cam resistor? From my research ecus sometimes can be different and take a resistor anywhere from 8-12kIt's a boomslang harness. I pined it out before installing it and it is correct. 2.2k and the 10k. Yes in the correct positions. I have been running it really hard and no codes yet.
