Lots of reports on bad reman axles too. NAPA new and reman cv axles are both by Cardone, but sold as Napa Maxdrive. Warranty for new is lifetime and reman is only 3yr/36k miles.
Pictures and proof or it didn't happen.

I was just looking at the new seals and there is a lip that gets in the way. I have heard you could install it by just pushing with your hand. What is the best tool or device. I might try to use the old seal and hammer if I didn't mangle it while taking it out.
Wooden block and hammer, dead blow hammer, something similar is what I use.Any tricks to get the hub dust cover back on??? '04 4Runner
