How to secure Bilstein 5125 rear shocks to the lower mount?

Hey guys just a quick question, what's the best way to secure the lower shock mount on the 5125's? Should I just use the factory bolt and a big washer? Thanks!

you need to press in the right size ply bushings.

It does look like the bushing is too large. Or is it just the way it looks?

If the bushing is the right size, Yes, use the stock bolt and washer.

The bushing is the right size it's just a little sideways in the pic, have to try and get it on better. For the top mount is his alignment alright?

OP, did you press in new bushings at all? If not, then you should. They dont come the right size from bilstien as I recall.

The bottom should be really snug. The hardest part of the install is putting them on the lower stud as if my memory serves.

Putting them back on though, OE washer and stud is fine.

Top looks just fine, just be sure to tighten it.

Yep the bottom was super tight had to hammer it on, was a pain but having a hoist really helps and another person. I have successfully installed everything, test drove it, all good, just gotta stretch the boots a bit already leaking grease!

Yes factory bolt and washer. You have the correct bushing in there.
