How to trim & not look terrible?

I have a 2011 SR5 in classic silver. It’s lifted 2 1/2" in front & 2” in back. Has 17x8 FN six shooters & Cooper Discoverer AT/W 285’s. The fender liner has been moved forward and OEM mud flaps removed. When alighed the wheels (caster) were moved forward. It still rubs at full lock & upon suspension compression, especially when aired down (which I do often).
Dustin at FN wheels said I’d probably need to trim bumper pastic & rocker pannel plastic.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this w/out it look terrible? Is there a way to smooth-out and or round the plastic at the cut so it doesn’t look hacked?
It would be nice if there were afforable wheel well liners/flairs that could accomidate widening the wheel well opening.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Trimming plastic is easy. Get a box cutter with a new blade (and extra blades in case one get dull). Tape the area you intend cutting and mark how much to remove. Slowly heat the area with a heat gun or blow dryer. The box cutter should cut with ease and leave a nice clean edge.

It's not that bad and no one but you will ever know that you trimmed. The area that needs trimming is fairly hidden. Get some new nippers and mask the line that you want to cut. Go slow and make a couple of passes. Finish with a light sanding and some touch up paint and you are golden.

I know I sound like an idiot here but.... Is there a trick to knowing exactly where & how much to trim? It only rubs when I'm driving and it's hard to tell where.

Best advice is to look for the clean plastic. If it's rubbing on it with the tire, you'll have a rub mark on the plastic which will surely rub any dirt or road grim off and give you insight on where to begin.
