Hey all, just found t4r.org. Looks like I'll be around here a while.

Picked up a 2001 SR5, Auto. w/ 197k on it. Picked it up for a solid price, but of course she'll need some work.

Work needed: Timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, misc hoses.

So far, got her tore apart for the T-belt n stuff (damn heat wave in CA has taken the fight outta me). Will tackle the rest tomorrow, and then the valve covers.


So, the plans are for now:

Sonoran Steel 1.2 system
Level 8 Strike 6 rims
Yoko Geolanders MT
1" body lift *(not sure which one yet, welcoming opinions on this!).

To do:
Bumpers
winch (again taking input here, throw me your recomendations)
roof rack
lighting

Too late. Between Reg, Transfer, Insurance, T-Belt (kit), Valve cover gaskets, and misc supplies. Already out an extra $1k

I blame my damn Tacoma. Took it wheeling with friends last weekend. Had WAY too much fun, Wife had WAAAAY too much fun, and now we have a legitimate 4x4. So, it's getting the same treatment as the Tacoma.

Fat Pat's 1" body lift.
"Pinch weld mod".
BudBuilt front skid plate and belly pan (3/16" steel).
EastCoastGears 4.88:1 gears.
Detroit TrueTrak front and rear limited slip diffs.
SPC upper A-ARms.
Rockmen rear lower trailing links.
Level 8 Strike 6 rims.
Trailgear front tube bumper.
Smittybuilt Winch
4th gen bolt on frame sliders (welded on instead).
Shrockworks Rear plate bumper with receiver and swing out tire carrier.
Surco roof rack w/ plate to mount light bar.
​Rear seats completely removed for custom sleeping and storage platform.
TEQ custom projector headlights.
All external lighting is now LED.
SRQ Fabrications Ditch light bracket on driverside, used for ham radio antenna mount.
Insane Fabs rear hatch CB antenna mount.
Rear flood light installed on undervehicle spare mount wired for extra reverse light.
