As the title states... I've reviewed the first 4 pages of the search function, specifically looking for a 5th Gen 4Runner with the Method Mesh rims. I know that the 5th Gen from the rear and side are similar but I'd love to see an angled front shot on a 2014 4Runner if anyone out there has them. Does no one have them because the census is they don't look good? They're attractive enough, but... I just don't know.
I'm trying to decide if I even like the Method Mesh rims enough to seriously consider them. I REALLY like the Method NV in black.
I have considered plasti-dipping the stock Trail wheels but my only issue with that is the offset. I plan on dipping them when I get home and should have some pictures up by Aug 15th of the rims dipped. I'll keep them until I get new wheels. I don't want to get spidertrax because of the additional point of failure it adds.
My current plan is the Duratracs on a 17' rim. First choice so far is the Method NV's.
I know there is a lifted and owners thread, in which I have been to every page of, literally, and have a few other ideas. Sometimes you just gotta see it to know for sure though.
And yes, I've used the "see in on your vehicle" generator on tire rack. It's not the same, for me at least.
If anyone can help... you have them, you got a friend who has them, someone in your neighborhood, you own a shop...
