I have a bet with my mechanic (regarding XREAS)

Here's the background:
Me, '06 4runner sport v6 2wd with 105,000 miles. I picked up some used FJC springs and had my mechanic put them in for me. They informed me that they could do it and knew about XREAS and it shouldn't be a problem. While installing they pulled the hydraulic line, spilled out all the fluid and refilled it before they gave it back to me.

The situation:
I explained to them that totally jacked up my suspension and you cannot just refill the XREAS. They are denying that anything is wrong but they are willing to take on a bet with me...

The bet:
If I can point out the disconnect points for XREAS and walk them through removing the system without having liquid spill out, I get the labor on the TRD FJC shocks and springs I just bought installed for free.

I remember browsing through the forum and seeing some DIY and info sheets on removing XREAS so I am going to win this bet right?

Just print out these PDF files and you'll win the bet. Toyota's own literature says that you can't refill XREAS. You win.

BTW, I do think they completely jacked up your suspension. I've heard that a new XREAS system (entire thing) is VERY expensive, so you should see if they'll pay for a new one because you don't want to pay for it yourself.

I'd love to know just how they refilled the system though..see if you can get some details from them. I'd be interested to know.
