I used to have a white EG hatch just like that (only not as clean), with a b20, built for autocross

It was "hard" but not impossible, obviously. I used a 10mm alan key with a 15mm box wrench on it.

What part of VA are you in? Im in woodbridge, and just got done with the upper/lower balljoints last weekend (what a pain in the ass) couple months ago I did the leaky valve cover, and flushed all the fluids, Now i just have a couple little things left so i can order the lift next month. Tires are already in the garage!

So far my ball joints were the only two man, and my roommate wanted to help with that. The wheels are taco rims right now. Looking at getting a set of Trail Editions eventually or FN five stars.
I'm in Norfolk. Ball joints were a PITA for sure.

Welp considering I screwed up the majority of my linked photos (that are now fixed) and its been over 2 years, I figured it was over due for an update. I'll grab some photos of things when I get a chance but having another parts truck to get stripped and other projects are taking priority.

Three boxes from Rockauto showed up yesterday for a complete oil re-seal, intake/exhaust gaskets, and timing belt kit w/ waterpump.
5100's showed up last week as well.
M62 SC rebuild kit was ordered today as well.
Gotta go through my SC box to see exactly what parts I'd want to replace for age before getting it in. And gotta swap my motors on the stand to be able to access it easier.

Put in the 880/906 and 5100's this weekend. Likely going to pull the 10mm trim packs from the rear as I got more lift than expected in the rear. The rear end seems a little bouncy/stiff but we'll see how it feels after driving a bit.
Fronts are on the second from the bottom perch, rears have the 10mm trim pack and OEM cones installed.
Coils were lightly used
Bilstiens are new
Current Mileage: 1865xx
Still on the near future to-do list:
Finish heated seat install (wiring)
Rebuild TRD charger
Re-gasket part's truck motor for swap

33's inbound from Discount Tire Direct.
Preforated metal inbound for Satoshi style grill work
New AISIN master cylinder installed and new brake fluid bled through to all 4 corners. Did a rear brake adjustment and the brakes are SOLID now. New fuel filter was put in as well. (Mileage 1873xx)

Search Tempest is your friend for obscure hard to find bits. Usually it misses but every once in a while you find BNIB unused 15 year old rare parts that you can't pass up.
Long story short I ended up using a BMW forum buddy to pick them up since I didn't want to tip anyone off here on them and got them picked up and shipped via third party for a very good price.

At one time I had a back door link to CL and I could search each state at one time for XYZ.... IT was really nice. I have used Tempest once but I liked that link I had better.

Blue Sea 12 fuse panel mounted under the pass rear seat. Heated seats are all wired, but not 100% in love with the switch mounting/location, so I may retry with the spare I have from the 01 parts truck. Just waiting on the loom that I ran out of and the 4ga to run from the 100A breaker under the hood to under the seat to have them working.
Photos are coming of it all when it gets buttoned up.
Some big things coming in the next few weeks.
Talking to Dustin [MENTION=85422]FNWheels[/MENTION] today to get a set ordered, have 4xinnovations sliders inbound the black Friday sale, and likely going to be doing a bit more lift and possibly a small BL to fit the Geolanders I picked up in October that have been sitting since.
Photos are coming of it all when it gets buttoned up.
Some big things coming in the next few weeks.

Welp apparently I didn't upload the "big 3" photos. So those will come tonight. Here are the shots of the new Acc. fuse panel and the heated seat controls.
Modified the mount a bit for the spare tire wrench, and the fuse panel is mounted to some 1/4 aluminum plate that I had laying around cut to fit. I made a hole pass through in the front corner where the seats mount to for all the wiring to pass through. Currently just have the heated seats and added the wiring for the rear 12v plug after the photo was taken that was in the 01 cargo panel that I swapped for.
