It does not look KDSS friendly to me.....:toilet:

Neither does this one that has been out:

TOTAL CHAOS Upper Control Arms from Wheeler's Off-Road

Total Chaos Bolt-On Lower Control Arm Skid Plates for 03-Current 4Runner: 122.50/pair
TC now offers armor for your stock 4Runner suspension. This bolt on lower a-arm skid plate uses 3/16” mild steel to provide maximum protection from the elements and will protect areas most vulnerable to rocks and tree hang ups on the trail. TC’s armor is CNC laser cut, pre bent and welded for easy installation. The skids bolt into existing factory lower control arm bolt holes (enlarging some holes may be necessary). Carriage bolts are used to eliminate damage caused by rocks. These arms ship raw so the armor can also be fully welded to the stock lower control arm for added strength & protection, if desired.

Checked with Icon these are not available yet but will be very soon, no price yet.

But I did get a set of rear shock stainless shin guards from their scratch/dent pile for $50. :reddance:

Checked with Brad at Icon about any updates with these and received the following reply:

"They will be on the site in a few weeks and shipping the 1st week of December."

Hey all, thought I would bump this thread up as they have these LCA skids on their website now!

$173.25 from Icon...don't see them on MetalTech yet...

Still nothing on their site about them being compatible with KDSS. Not sure how I feel about this: "Must enlarge 4 pre-existing holes for proper installation".

I'm not so sure about this either. I've been thinking about making my own LCA skids and some lower link skids as well once spring break rolls around.

If I am not mistaken, the 2010+ FJ and the 5th gen 4R share the same LCA. So we should be able to use these Ricochet LCA skid plates on a NON-KDSS equiped 4R no problem.

I have full Ricochet skids on my ATV and they are very nice. But I did not know they were making this too!

I was looking at these, but how's the whole secondary shock thing work? Where does it mount to?

There is a tab sticking up on the skid plate where the secondary shock will mount to on the A arm. The secondary shock hoop will bolt to the strut tower and frame. Icon is really close to finishing them up and we will be getting the first sets that are produced.

Any idea what kind of shocks people would expect to pair with it? Well, other than Icon Omega's.
