Icon Stage 2 Assistance

I received the remaining pieces of my stage 2 the other day and I'm trying to get things in order so the install goes as smooth as possible. Can anyone give me a heads up on preassembling the UCAs? I've been searching all morning here, tundratalk, the fj forum... I can't find much and the box has no instructions. This is what I've got and I don't know if it's worth it to get it together ahead of time or how to do so, help would be appreciated.

Also, I got this which looks like the sway bar relocate kit but I don't plan on putting it back on. Anyone have any idea what the little bag of bolts and washers is for? The front coilovers came with instructions and I read that the skid plates need to be moved slightly and I'm thinking that's what these are for. Can anyone confirm?

Top bag with the 6 bolts are used to bolt in the coil overs on top of the shock mount. The bottom bag has all the sway bar / skid relocation parts. If your trail has kdss you will not use this bag. If not the black bolts go in the recessed holes and the others are used to secure the sway bar mounts. make sure you reallocate the spacer so when the sway bar is reinstalled it is moved forward (towards front of vehicle) The large washers are for spacers for your skids to make clearance for reallocated sway bar.
 
the little bag of bolts and lock washers is the new hardware for the coilovers top-mount. you will reuse the OEM bolt on the LCA.

i have seen posts about pre-assembling the UCAs but that didn't seem to make sense to me when i was doing my install so i did it in situ. grease the bejeezus out of those bushings and set aside plenty of time to do the slip-and-slide dance getting the bushings, washers, and fore and aft arm-holes all lined up to slip he long bolt in. blue loctite goes on the upper uniball bolt. the bottom bolt gets a new nylock nut and replaces the OEM castle nut.

you should've recieved instructions in the box. :confused:

I don't plan on putting the front swaybar back on. My truck does NOT have kdss. So as I understand your post, I will not need this bag at all then, correct?

Correct - If your not going to reinstall the sway bars then I don't believe you will need any of that hardware.
 
Thanks [MENTION=29376]sandcrawler[/MENTION] I have not had a chance to install yet so this is helpful. I was gonna email wheelers/icon but this should do. Any input on which grease to go with or what they mean? Just get some zerk grease and have at it?

as you can tell from my scribbles, that was one of the questions i had for ICON when i phoned them. they said any synthetic chassis grease would be fine, so i used the Mobil 1 pink stuff. i already have a grease gun loaded with it for the driveline u-joints anyway, so it's one less thing to have kicking around the garage.
