I'm a dumbass

Yeah, my wife took care of that one when it was a month old. Borrowed it while I was at work to get groceries. Opened the hatch in the garage. It hit the garage door where there just happened to be a hex head self tapping screw. Gouged the paint down to the metal about 2" long. LOL

:cry2::cry2::cry2:

Damn man. I'm sorry to hear that dude. That black truck seems to be a magnet of issues. I know how painful that is. It seems that near everything shows on black :(

When my T4R was like 3 days old, i went into a parking garage and lifted up the back hatch to show my friends. I didn't even think to check to see if the back hatch would strike the top of the parking garage. Luckily, there was plenty of room and it didn't strike the ceiling. That would have been embarrassing and i would have been pissed, BUT, it could have!

If I open my hatch while in my garage and the garage door is open, it will hit it every time. I'm thinking of attaching some cushioning material to that part of the garage door since I keep forgetting to think about what it is I'm doing.

Someone one here took a pool noodle and cut it in half and installed it on the bottom of the door. I haven't done anything yet.

don't feel bad.. I just slid on some wet road... and wrapped the drivers side front around this guys GMC.. Slow speed and no one was hurt but yeah the front end is hosed!

as a side note.. I wonder if it would cost less to just do one of those snazzy winch bumpers instead of a new front end...
