A dealer has a 1 owner LTD with 121,000 miles on it, and even a good price. I cannot have an independent mechanic inspect, (no denial from dealer) but the 4Runner is of some distance from the mechanic. What, (from your experiences) should I look for, aside from cosmetics to seal the deal. I do have some knowledge, seals, tire wear, engine noises, tranny slipping. The pictures of the 4runner on the website look nice, but the test drive and inspection will come in a few days, as the vehicle is in one dealership, and is being transported to another, (closer to me). It does have a towing pkg., if it matters. This will be my second 4Runner, my first being an '88.
