work is in the ghetto literally...I have bums smoking joints every night outside my warehouse!

I lived in Rialto to be able to afford a house with a 3 car garage so I would have room for all my cars... bums smoking joints are the people i met every morning at the gas station where I picked up my morning soda!

Get rid of the car payment and find an old Toyota Echo. Close gas mileage and proven reliability and cheaper parts. Straight commuter car. Take the $ saved and get car storage and throw a turbo on the Mister 2 and keep the runner. That MR2 style is the best and you have it in the best color with low miles. 2Pennies

3. How is everyone getting over 18+ mpg for the 4Runners? I know the simple mods to improve but also I guess thats the way I drive. My commute each day is 40 + miles, mostly in stop and go LA Traffic. I hate LA for this reason.

My wife drives our 4runner daily, mostly in town and it gets a solid 18.5mpg. 4:10's, 285's, 5-speed, and it just turned 190k a couple weeks ago. We've only owned it 2 years, but right after purchasing, I changed nearly every basic tune-up item.
I'd say if your's is an automatic, that + stop & go is what's killing your mileage.

stop and go is killing me. 45 min commute, 35 mins of it is averaging 10 mph.

Just need to convince the fiance to let you keep them all. You can always drive the MR2 when Dirty Mike and The Boys decide to have a Soup Kitchen in your Prius...
