Installing Daystar on my '97 tomorrow

Remove the rear spring (in this case I have airlift 1000's), and reinstall with the new spacer...it's easier if you zip-tie the spacer onto the top the coil before reinstalling

repeat the same for the other side.

Here's the only casualty of the day...my trusty Snap-on 1/2 to 3/8 adapter finally gave up the ghost...

After all was done, I measured 2" of additional height at each fender.

The whole process took around 4 hours of labor (took many breaks...my dog was helping me).

yea, I tried to install OME lift. After busting my butt plus a few other parts, I found a guy that installed the lift plus new schocks for 125.00. Worth evey penny of it. Dang spring comp. can kill you if you dont know what your doing...and sometimes even when you do know what your doing.

Yeah...I hear you on that.

Everytime I use the spring compressor, I get visions in my head of some micro-fracture in the metal and the whole compressor failing...taking my hand off in the process.:awais:

I'll try to get some pics this weekend...it looks lame with the stock tires though...
