Interior LED questions.

I've read plenty about guys switching to interior LED's and being extremely happy.

I started small and replaced the two overhead dome lights with a similar shaped bulb with LED's inside it. After a week I pulled them out because the light from them was so poor.

Did I get a bad LED? Did I get the wrong LED?

Some of the pics I see look amazing so it has me wondering.

Who is the best choice for LED's? Do they offer a complete interior kit?

Go HERE for a complete kit. Lots of satisfied members. You can probably get them individually from ebay for a little less but why not let someone else do the leg work for you.

I've also got the LJ24 group buy kit and am happy w/ it. I think xenon depot? might have a kit also but believe its more expensive.

I separately sourced the vanity mirror lights and glove box lights off ebay as they weren't available from LJ24.

Last your question on the dome lights, I believe the kit from LJ (and I believe others) has an LED panel as the replacements for these (not a single LED bulb), and they are plenty bright.

I did a full replacement with LED's from superbriteleds.com. If you want, stop by the store and I'll show you. Very low cost, super bright, and easy as pie.

I also was part of LJ's group buy on Toyota120 for the interior LEDs. I was so impressed with the quality and the price, I ordered two kits - one for the Runner and the other for another vehicle.

All installed and look/work great.

I too bought the kit from a member on the forum and loved the kit, quality was great only issue I had was the license plates bulbs didn't match in color. Other than that everything was great.
