Ok, from this point on my pics get a little sparse. There were a lot of stucks in this area starting with me. I had to winch myself out, then turn back around and winch four more through. Didn't get a lot of pics because I was too busy rigging and winching. The Warn 9.5 xp pulled everything we threw at it. Plan for tomorrow is to clean the line and dress it.

A very stuck LC 80. It took two of us winching him simultaneously to get him out. Net result was some water inside and a blown bead on the front driver's side.

To start off, beautiful pictures. The B/W you said that should be in ARB mag, yeh, completely agree.

Anyway, question on your V3 Tritons. You said you were going to use them as your DRLs and turn signals. On the 2010-2013, are these the same bulb?
On the 2014, the turn signal is the parking light on outside and the DRL is the inner bulb/high beam at low output.
I want to get the Tritons also for parking/turn signal, but the DRLs would be on also...

Thoughts?

On the 2010-13 the turn signal and drl are both the same bulb, an 1156. Not knowing anything about the 2014 bulbs I couldn't say what will work but vleds customer support is pretty good so I'd ask them.
 
I'm so jealous I was working while you guys were out there having such a good time yesterday. Sunday was a good but I'm disappointed I had to come back to Calgary.

Recognize where some of the pics from Monday were taken? Would've been nice if you were there so you could get the best of that spot this time.
 
Yeah we couldn't drive the whole way because of the snow. We looked at it and if anyone lost traction on the last hill climb it would've been pretty bad. It was only about a 10 minute hike the rest of the way though. And the bypass where you slid is probably even worse than the other way now. It's fine for quads, but a truck will get way more off camber and almost definitely go into the wall even on the way up.
 
And one last shot from last weekend. Buddy of mine took this one of us set up to double winch that Land Cruiser out.

Better late than never. Was out on Sunday but just got around to going through my pics. I was tail gunning and doing a lot of spotting so I didn't get as many action shots as I would've liked. A lot of the action shots were me telling the driver to stop and quickly snapping a couple. I even made a couple people back up so I could get a better pose.

Great pics Marc! Especially like the ones of your runner and of the horses.
According to Pam this was a great trip, and you and Chris did an excellent job of leading the new guys in and spotting them through the challenging stuff. Good to hear such positive feedback from the new people!

Camping weekend in Crowsnest! One of our friends is moving to Toronto next week and he'd never been to Crowsnest before. He asked a bunch of us if we'd take him there before he left. Started things off with a night run.

Underway and to a trail called seven bridges. There aren't actually any bridges on the trail, but lots of water crossings. It's one of those really tight trails so not a lot of opportunities for pics.

Next to the campsite was a dirt track that's normally blocked by a locked gate. Sunday morning the gate was wide open so we decided to do a little exploring. We found the remains of some old mine sites.
