Invite to a Utah CV boot/LBJ party

So I have a set of stock LBJs sitting in a box, and a tear in one of my CV boots.

I am nervous about replacing the LBJs, but the CVs for some reason have me all sketched out. Despite reading what I think are all the threads I just don't feel comfortable with how the process will work in my head. Most of them are about replacing CVs, not boots, and I just read that I might need diff oil, which is kind of what sent me over the edge. I also can't seem to find the part number for the 3rd gen boot kit (nor if I need two to do both sides or if one kit covers both).

Anyway, wondering if someone would be interested in lending a helping hand. My garage is fit out decently (ramps, jack, stands, creeper, full set of sockets including 35mm plus various adapters and breaker bars) but I only have a little pancake compressor, so no real air tools.

Not sure if I can get the boots for this weekend, but I don't think this would take all that long so it shouldn't matter if I have my kids or not (meaning I could do it any weekend, the sooner the better). Willing to supply Pie Pizza (or whatever folks like) and Frosty Beverage of choice.

Wow. That is awesome. Hopefully some locals chime in too, but if you end up driving down we should at least go someplace fun too. I have my kids on Memorial day, but I think they would love to do a run or something, if there is anything you'd be interested in that my stocker could handle.

I am in lovely Midvale, 10 mins south of SLC.

Well we can definitely get together and do this. I am out to the musical land of Moab from May 24th to June 1st. I have done CV boots a few times and they are pretty easy for the most part if you know what your doing and have the tools. Any other time I am down to help. The would have to be on a Sunday but that is my only stipulation.

Post this up on desert runners for sure. Me and one of the other guys one there just rebuilt my front end last Saturday. Depending on dates I'm sure we can arrange some sort of help.
