iPhone 4S - Caller ID Issue

I added my contacts (and speed dial) from my iPhone, but when I receive a call from a phone number in my contact list (and speed dial) the caller ID does not work because the incoming call has a "1" prefix attached to it....is there any way to change this or do I have to add a "1" prefix to all my contact numbers?

Thanks...the caller id works on the iphone...just not on the 4 Runner....still can't find a solution....
