Iphone Itunes Autoplay

Direct to a place if the answer is already there, I didn't have much luck searching.

Every time I switch from Sirius to BT it auto plays whatever song is on my itunes, it's super annoying.

Anyone know how to disable it on the 4runner or the Iphone itself?

You're right, it is super annoying. It's like that with every phone I've had and every vehicle I've had. It's also been covered pretty thoroughly on this forum. I recommend searching using the Google bar at the top right of the page for best results, but for now I'll save you the effort.

Consensus: Tolerate it.

I've noticed that if I have my "music" folder closed (to save battery) on the iPhone, it automatically plays the first song (alphabetically) in my "song" category.... Same damn song, every time!! If I leave the last music session "open", it goes right back where I was... Which is fine.

If I'm going to play something through bluetooth I just queue it up on my phone first before I select bluetooth on the 4R stereo. Otherwise it does what you said and just plays the first audio file in iTunes.

Except Pandora

It's a crap shoot whether mine starts apple music or Pandora. Tried keeping track of the variables and couldn't find any consistency as to why it would do one or the other.

As soon as I gets used to whatever it is doing, it changes with the next update.

Currently, if I have something queued or playing and I left the car (on or off) when bluetooth was connected it will resume that connection when I get back in range and the car is on.
