IPOD Settings

Greetings. I have a 2010 Limited with the USB port in the glove box. For a very long time I had the EQ setting on classical for the Ipod. Just curious which EQ setting everyone finds to be the best. I listen to all sorts of music, anything from Led Zepplin to Notorious BIG to Classical.

Music from my iPod sucks. But, I find it sounds best with slightly more bass, and treble. I always have party mode on too.

I think he was referring to the eq settings on the ipod itself. On the ipod, I either have it off, or I use the Loudness setting, it just isnt possible to change it for each kind of music while you are driving.

that being said, I believe it is possible to set the eq for each song in iTunes and it will use that setting upon playback.

I leave mine on "off", "rock" or "bass boost" depending on type of music I'm listening too.

I leave the iPod equalizer off, and have party mode on at all times unless I have rear seat passengers as the back door speakers are turned off with party mode (more power sent to tailgate speakers).

I also added a 12" sub to the stock stereo. Toyota systems always seem weak on the bass. Now my truck slams!
