Is everyone's climate control showing Celsius?

Just wondering on my 99 limited if you can change it to Fahrenheit or if its stuck on Celsius.

Nope, mine reads in F. K(elvin) though, on the hot days .

Check your door jamb to see if you have a Canadian 4runner.

Mine if F not even available to but in celsius your model might be like the previous guy said canadian or something

The numbers on mine go from 18 to 32. I'll check but I doubt it is Canadian because the speedometer is in mph.

Mine reads in F. I test drove one that read in C though and it also had MPH on the speedo.

I've heard of climate control failures where the system doesn't fail, but for some reason, it converts itself from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

So showing Celsius doesn't only insinuate a Canuck Runner.

I was thinking the same thing Brian. I want to say a good while back there was a post with a similar problem. It's probably been a year or 2 since then.

Tried to look in my fsm (year 2000). No luck but i did find there is a diagnostic mode you can put it in to check sensors, conditions etc. no idea if it will work for a 99 (this is from a 2000 FSM) but might be worth a whirl. Does the temp seem to read accurately? Both in and out?

Yeah its accurate and yes both in and out are like that. I'll try that though but my buttons don't work very well so it may be hard
