Yes, lots of spam. It's too bad the forum doesn't have an "ignore" button for individual posters.

I mean, the advertisers have their own section of the forum already.

In other forums I have/do belong to, vendors post in their sub section. The section where they are first introduced and can post deals, answer inquiries etc. I don't think they should be allowed to post advertising into multiple sub categories. Just my opinion.

To be honest I think its ok if its in 1 spot. I never look in the individual vendor forums but will look at the group buys.
Multiple sections is annoying.

i don't mind the vendors that much.
What bothers me are the shills, who are pushing crappy products and pretending they have no financial incentives, like those crappy chinese made android headunits.....
They are worse than the instafakers and boobtubers who shill for CBI and ICON....

Click "User CP" on the upper left of your screen.
Then under "Settings and Options" you'll find "Edit Ignore List"
Or the new members that pop up just to shill/defend a seller with very poor business practices.
I don't mind the vendors either, they do sponsor the forums to help keep it running, right?
Those are my favorite.
User with first post: "Nah man, this guy is legit, I know him in real life and the product is the real deal! We're all over the Facebook group so you know we're not just full of shit".
"Welp okay then, I guess that's that, I'm sold!"
....
My anecdotal experience is that most people who spend the majority of their time on vehicle Facebook groups rather than a proper, well-laid-out forum, whether it's Mustangs or trucks or whatever, tend to not know what the hell they're talking about.

I don't have an issue with a company posting new products they made. What I have a problem with is vendors posting daily product inventory updates (seriously, Battle Born Off-Road posts and bumps their suspension inventory on a daily basis), vendors having "group buys" when the discount is like 5% off and they offer the same discount year round (TAP), and generally spamming the forums with any (every) product they sell. If a company or fabricator wants to update us on a product they're introducing and selling then fine but we won't need retailers and vendors giving us daily updates on products they sell.
Honestly only two vendors do this. TAP-LV and BBO. From what I understand they're different companies but have connections in one way or another. Maybe through Chas at MRT...?

I agree with this. New product to the market, that's great, please post away! But bumping the same posts over and over is exhausting and does nothing but spam the forum.
And yeah, a "group buy" at 5-10% off isn't really a group buy at all.
