Is it possible to have the ’06 upgrades on a ’05?

Didn’t they move the signal lights up in ’06? This guy might not know what he has. The badging on the door looks longer that SR5 4WD from the photo angle but hard to tell? I think it is a ’06 Limited... got a call in to him. Does anyone like the gold??? :snacker:

I hear ya.... and if it is a limited I won’t mention that either. Might be someone selling it for someone else or a typo? Don’t know about the color though

Looks like an 06+ Limited--painted mirrors and front grille and you can see the light for the running boards. It's got 16" SR5 wheels though and no V8 badge.

Those aren't SR5 wheels though. Make sure its not some ''rebuild''. Get the VIN and check all that needs checked. The VIN will tell you what it ''should'' be.

Really!!! All Weather Mats over the the carpet ones!!! These Kind of people all but caused the massive BS Toyota floor mat/gas pedal recall!!!

You could do all those mods on an 05 SR5 if you wanted too. matching Mirrors, 06 & up headlights and lower light trim, limited badges, front bumper cover, matching grill, lighted running boards, all of those are a bolt on mod. Those are Standard 16" wheels availible on the SR5s only, most SR5s have the upgraded 17" wheels that were availible on the Limiteds. It was only a $100 option. The limiteds came standard with 17" 5 spoke wheels. The SEs had standard 17" 6 spoke wheel.

Another explaination is this person had a front end wreck and put the 06+ pieces on. Hense no V8 emblem???

I had a silver rack (and running boards) on my '03 limited too but I believe in '05 they switched to black.

The rear fenders look like the rounded '06 up flares so that would discount the bolt on thing. Also '06 front bumper won't line up with '03 front fenders.

Seems most likely to me that this is an '06 Limited but he put SR5 16" wheels (to save money on tires?)

I agree about the mats though.

I have to agree with you after looking at the rounded wheel wells. Maybe he has a second set of tires??? How much are you really going to save on tires??? Maybe $100 a set. You would pay more that that for the 16" rims I would think. Who knows!! people do strange things!!!

Ask the seller for the VIN. You can tell if it's a Limited or an SR5 by the 7th digit in the VIN, 4 for a SR5 (or Sport Edition) and 7 for a Limited.

Huh? I'm pretty sure the rear is 06+ too, if you look closely you can see the rear fenders are rounded.
