Is KDSS worth the cost????

I'm screwed! No antenna on mine! Since kdss leans right and my sr5 leans left maybe I will add half of the kdss system and it should even out.

You just never let your gas get below 3/4 of a tank if you have KDSS.

Seriously... I would of got KDSS if could of found a silver Trail that was not located on Jupiter!

However, after installing about $4K worth of suspension, KDSS is just a distant memory to me.

Go check on Land Cruiser forums. They've had the system longer than the 4Runner.

KDSS only works on left turns on road and going up a rock off road. No right turns and no going down rocks.

It's on your multi-terrain select, that controls your KDSS. :tape2:

I believe that was my first ignorant assumption when joining the forum, had many more since. :doh:

you have to add a stubby antenna to offset the lean... of and you can run 40s easily if you do a bodymount chop

Is there a specific location I should put the stubby antenna so it evens out the lean fore and aft also?

Does it need to be connected to the radio?

Do I need a specific brand of stubby antenna?

Does my CB antenna mounted on the passenger side of the roof help with the lean?

Do I need to do a body mount chop since I'm in my 50's (don't answer that)?

What brand/tread/model of 265/70-17 tire will actually fit my wheels?

It's the big red button by your steering wheel that says Start. If you don't have that button you don't have KDSS.

Button? everyone knows to engage KDSS you maintain 75mph, throw thow the transfer case into 4lo, lock the axles and turn as right as sharp as possible!
