Is my wheel hub going south ?

Two years ago I was informed by my local garage a front wheel bearing was starting to "go" and to keep an eye on it. Two years later and last weeks vehicle inspection, at a different garage, tell me the wheel bearing is fine !

So the symptons I am having are a slight pulling to the right, but no grumbling noises or any heat. Very occassional brake shudder, but maybe once a week ! The rotors and calipers/pads are all new. I just jacked her up and when I grip the wheel I can feel a few mm's of movement in the 3:15 horizontal but nothing in the 12/6:00 position. Could it be the hub has worn oval ? is it even the hub ?

It's almost as if the wheel is not tight enough against the rotors, but it is. In comparison, the other side is fine. Any advice ? Thanks.

The last thing I would be looking at is the bearing. I changed mine out only because I had the spindle off and was replacing the dust shields and that thing is VERY stout. Excessive horizontal movement would more likely be ITREs or, OTREs

240,000 miles. Track rods ends seem tight, wouldn't they exhibit some slop when
checked ? I tapped most components with a hammer and cannot feel any looseness or play anywhere.
LBJ's were replaced last year too.
It's probably been doing it now for the two years with no detrimental effect !

There is no wheel shake when driving either. Maybe I should call in at a garage and ask them to check the O and ITRE's. Maybe they can diagnose it. They'd know better than me.
