Issue with Etune/bluetooth, any help?

So my wife and I picked up her 2014 TE Premium this last weekend. We have both of our phones connected via bluetooth. My moto x has no issues receiving or making calls and music as well, but my wife's iPhone 5s when she tries to make a call or receive one the car makes the ringing noise but the voice won't actually transmit. After she receives the call everything goes quite and you can no longer hear anything even though the vehicle still shows the call as on-going.

Any ideas what might be going on?

The only problem I have had is that the source on my iPhone 5 will sometimes be selected as "iphone" even though bluetooth is connected. Try making a call and check the source, which should be one of the options on the main screen of the phone when a call is connected.

I have an iPhone5s. It did that to me once, but it ended up being the phone setting selected to iPhone like the above poster mentioned and nothing with the truck itself.
