Issue with Viair 300P

I picked up a 300p a few weeks ago and the first weekend I went to use it, I had an issue. The compressor itself works fine, my issue revolves around the chuck at the end of the hose. It's not long enough to push the needle in the valve stem down on 3 out of 4 of my tires. It clamps onto the stems but it can't get any air into the tire. I went to Walmart and picked up a regular 2 sided chuck for temp use but I like the idea of not having to kneel down and hold the chuck on the stem. I contacted Amazon and they're shipping me a new unit but I'm not convinced the new one won't have the same issue. I picked up my rims/tires from discounttiredirect.com. I measured and one valve stem is definitely a slightly different size than the other three. Anyone else experience this? I'll try to add some pictures later to clarify.

considering you said the valve stem is different, I would say that is the problem. however, I would want any air chuck im using to work on all valve stems. even if they are slightly different.

im curious to see a picture.

just grab a euro style chuck, like I posted in that other thread. they are badass!

i have the same air compressor, but had a different problem with mine.

on mine the quick disconnect hose would not 'lock' onto the nipple on the compressor. i bought it from Amazon as well, but did not use it until months after i bought it. when i tried to return it, Amazon sent a new one to me before i shipped the broken one back and received it in a few days. the new one worked fine, and overall am happy. (never did a return to Amazon before this)
