So I took screenshots with my phone of your setup just so I can adjust add to my list :thanks: as far as the base camp duffels I love them have a red large and a red XL. The XL my wife dragged through Australia forn5 months back in college without issue. I took both on my last deployment and never worried about my stuff at all. Just zip tied the zippers before I flew and they didn't open anything. :lock1:

Not too many new things going on over here. I did finally getting around to throwing in some weather-tech digital fit mats and they are awesome! Very happy with them. I also got the custom cut headlight protection film from weather-tech, I haven't installed it yet, but I am impressed with the accuracy of the cut and the quality of the film. I will update later when I put them on.

Also, as many of you are aware, I like the limited key, but I feel like it could be a little more convenient... I started this thread about the topic a while ago and I still constantly get PM's about it: Lexus Smart Key Card. Finding a better way to keep this key is kind of like my pet peeve project, it's like [MENTION=6163]phillyd2[/MENTION]'s 4wheel drive knob relocation mod. Is it necessary? Not at all - it's a total first world problem - but it's just a project that I'm determined I can find a solution to.
I was thinking about it the other day, and while the lexus smart card is a cool idea, the one thing I keep with me more often than my wallet, is my iPhone - I'm never caught without it in my pocket. So why not combine the two? I took a crack at is this weekend and this is what I came up with:
It's designed to hold only the internals of the key (so basically just the internal circuit board, and battery). I measured everything with some digital calipers and transferred the measurements to a CAD program to mock it all up. It's currently getting 3D printed by i.materialize. I'm not 100% set on the design, this is just a prototype, and it may be too bulky to be practical, but I figured it was worth a try! The 3D printing only cost about 40$ including shipping so I'm going to see how it turns out. I'll update back here when it's in!

I thought about that, but it couldn't be on top or it would cover the camera and flash. It could be made to work but it would have to be off center or moved down to the center of the phone a bit more. I thought the bottom should work well.
I applaud you for taking this on, really really cool idea.

Now that, that is out of the way. My friend drives a 2011 Cadillac SRX and has a factory keyless fob. Her doors will never unlock if her iPhone is in her purse. It appears the the phone somehow is blocking the frequency from the key. Proximity sensor? (Read: Disclaimer)
If she takes her phone out of her purse and leaves the key fob in, everything works as it should.

Haha thanks! Yes that's definitely something that's crossed my mind. The iPhone doesn't have any NFC capability built in and I'm hoping the bluetooth/wifi/cell radios won't interfere, but we'll find out!
