Im starting a build thread for my new 5th Gen 4Runner. As some of you know I used to have a 4th Gen SR5 that I recently sold. I have recently acquired a 5th Gen Trail. There are a few things that I miss about my 4th but theres definitely a lot the 5th has to offer that the 4th didn't....Both fantastic trucks....anyways here we go.

Sweet looking rig! How big of a difference between the stock tires and the BFG's as far as road noise and mpg?

Road noise definitely went up and the MPGs went down maybe .1-.2 Thats computer mileage not actual calculated.

Ive had AT Kos on every truck I've owned. I guess I'm used to the noise. Its not terrible but its there...

I am shopping for some AT tires for my 2014 SR5 I had a set of BFG's on my 98 z71...one of the best looking and functional tires IMO. Just couldnt remember how loud they were.

Get the BFGs. The road noise isn't BAD but its definitely louder than stock.

Me too, trying decide if I should go with the grey or wait for the black to be released.

Rocky Road standard sliders installed. Looks factory very happy with the craftsmanship and quality







This bolt was a royal PITA!! Nestled behind the kdss lines. Had to use a wrench and do 1/4 turns ughhh
