Its kinda cool really It's as if the traction control was design to work with a locker setup. The way it can tell if a wheel is spinning is if one wheel is spinning faster than the other wheels.

So with the axle locked the computer doesn't realize that your back right or back left isnt getting traction because there going the same speed. With just adding a rear locker and having the center locked, the only thing the ATRAC has to account for would be one of the front tires not getting traction. At that point it just sends a little braking power to the wheel that's spinning faster than the other front wheel and sends power to the other side.

With all three cases locked the computer has no way of knowing if your tires are getting traction as all tires are turning the same speed at all times.

However.. I keep all my traction controls turned off :lookout:. I just erased my zero points and never reset them so the computer doesn't really respond to anything. It still utilizes ABS though so its worked thus far for me.

The rear bumper is a CBI "Scratch and Dent" special. (figured I am going to scratch and dent it anyway so doesn't really matter if it comes that way).

The e-locker (if I go that route) will be Toyota made for the FJ.
 
Going backwards ...

I never feel like I have adequate lighting behind me especially when backing up. Hopefully, I've taken care of that with this 10" LED bar.

Setting it up on a separate switch so I can use it anytime.

Nice! It's just the perfect size. I look forward to seeing the night pics as well. Mind taking some with and without it in the same location?
 
This is 4 wheeling !

I never tire of watching these guys get their rigs through the courses. This is all Land Rovers but the problem solving is the same regardless.

Some are a bit long but worth the investment in time if you are in to overlanding:

Fuel filler holder

Needed a place to carry the fuel filler nozzle but also needed it to be outside the vehicle and protected.

Used a few pieces of sched-40 PVC pipe and then attached it to the fuel carrier in what seems like a pretty protected spot.

Moving switches

I wanted all my accessory lighting switches on the dash where the risk of accidental activation would be minimized. In my quest to maintain a stock appearance, i decided to move the Center differential lock and the VSC switches to the center console so all the lighting switches could be positioned in a way that made sense to me.

I can find these by feel and activate or deactivate as needed now.

The new location for the Center Diff lock and the VSC-Off switches

Super nice build! Not too many modd'ed 4th gens in this color. Do you have any more pics of the whole vehicle?
